AAP KO BHOOL JAYEN HUM -(TUM MILAY PEYAR MILA )

Aap ko bhool jaayen hum, itne to bewafa nahin.
Aapse kya gila karen? Aapse kuch gila nahin.

Hum tou samjh rahe the yeh, tum mile pyaar mel gaya.
Ek tere dard ke siva, hum ko to kuch mila nahin.

Sisha-e-dil ko todna, unka to ek khel hai.
Humhi se bhool ho gayee, unke koi khata nahin.

Kaash wo apne gham mujhe de den to kuch sukoon mile,
wo kitna bad-naseeb hai, gam hee jise mila nahin

Jurm hai gar wafa to kya, kyoon kar wafa ko shod doon
Kehte hain is gunaah kee hoti koi saza nahin

  2. it is great injustice to Shayar, that neither the singer nor any web site mentions his/her name. I think every singer should mention the name of shayar at the beginning of the song.

    1. I agree with you fully. In the western countries, the lyrics are copy protected and no one can sing it without the copy HOLDER,s permission. This song has been sung by many Pakistani/Indian singers and no one mentions the name of the poet. I think the lyrics were written by a Pakistani poet named Tasleem Fazli who died at the young age of 35 and was married to Pakistani actress Nisho who is still alive and well. The song was filmed in a Pakistani movie and the actors were Mohammed Ali and his wife Zeba. The video clip of the song is still available from the movie. Same thing happened to another Pakistani peot Purnam who wrote the Qawali Yeh DIL Lagi tugh ko. He is burried in Lahore, Pakistan and lived in a one room apartment in Anarkaly Bazar. Our society does not reward talented artists appropriately and they usually live in dire situations. In the West the artists earn millions of dollars annually and receive loyalty regularly who ever uses their work.

    2. I mean royalty not loyalty where a % of the sale of the product goes to the patent holder who invented the product.

    1. After doing some research, I have found out the poet,s name who wrote this song "Aap ko Bhool Jayen Hum" for a Pakistani film"Tum milay payyar mila" in 1969. The Pakistani poet,s name is Tasleem Fazli who was married to a Pakistani actress Nisho for a short time but died at a young age of 35 in Karachi, Pakistan in 1982.The widow Nisho is still alive but has retired from the movie industry. It's very sad that this talented poet wrote many famous songs for various movies in Pakistan but his name is never mentioned by singers from India/Pakistan. How we can correct this injustice to the artists, we have to raise voices and make sure they are not forgotten.
